With that delicious and healthy cauliflower base, we can eat pizza without weighing our conscience. A cauliflower dough, without flour, low in calories and without gluten. Ideal for those on a diet and for children who still resist eating vegetables.

It is also a simple and easy base, and quick to make. And it is very versatile! We can fill our cauliflower pizza with whatever we want. This time we have chosen a simple filling, one of the favorites for children. We hope you like it.

For the mass:
- 1 medium cauliflower
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup of grated mozzarella cheese
- Salt to taste
For the filling:
- Tomato sauce (canned or natural)
- York ham in pieces
- Mozzarella cheese in pieces
- Basil leaves

1. Wash the cauliflower, dry it well, and cut it into large pieces so that you can grate it or pass it through a food grinder.

2. Once the cauliflower is grated, mix it with an egg, the grated cheese and season it. Mix everything well until a dough forms.

3. Spread a baking tray with oil or some butter and spread the cauliflower dough until it is thin.

4. Bake in a preheated oven at 180ÂșC for approximately 20 minutes.

5. Next, fill it in that order: top with the tomato sauce, then the cheese, and finally the pieces of ham. Cut some basil leaves and spread them on top.

6. Bake again for about 10 minutes or until you start to notice that the edges of the dough are browning and the cheese melts.
